Atlanta's Own: An Atlanta Sports Podcast

Atlanta's Own is an Atlanta Sports Podcast dedicated to discussing all things related to the Falcons, Braves and Hawks. We are starting to sprinkle a little Atlanta United in as well. The show is hosted by two Atlanta natives who are diehard, life long pro Atlanta sports fans who want to share the love and pain of being an Atlanta sports fan with as many people as possible. Each episode covers the weekly news for the professional teams as well as opinions and insight of these stories. Our topic of the week segment is more of a roundtable discussion about a particular issue, opinion or idea pertaining to one of the teams or Atlanta sports as a whole. The show started in March of 2017 and we hope it can grow into a must listen experience for all fans of our Atlanta teams. The show contains some vulgarity as being an Atlanta sports fan has made us cynical and bitter at times.

The boys recap the (sigh) painful loss to Washington, call out the good (running game, late second half defense), the bad (Arthur Smith's decision making), and the ugly (is it cheap calling out Mariota?).
We also talk about the weird state of the identity-less Hawks. Is Trae Young a leader? What is Nate doing? Why do we keep blowing double digit second half leads? Will I stop typing seemingly rhetorical questions?

The last show before Thanksgiving is a happy one after the Falcons squeaked by Justin Fields and the Bears in a game that featured a NFL record setting touchdown from Cordarelle Patterson. They tease their future Dadlaw.com segment as they themselves are not savvy enough to understand what the hell these Liberty Media stock options mean. Learn more about your ad choices. The title says it all. This leads to the first offseason Braves talk segment of the year along with Graham showing some surprising passion for Udonis Haslem. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
